Claude in, PDF out.
Claude has no PDF button for an answer, and printing the chat gives you the interface, not the document. Paste the answer here and download clean pages. Free, in your browser, no signup.
Nothing uploads. The PDF is built in your browser; the next page shows the exact pages first.

Use the copy button at the foot of the Claude reply, not select-all. It hands over the answer as Markdown, with headings, tables, code, and equations intact.
The preview is the PDF: A4 or Letter pages, page breaks already placed, code highlighted, math rendered. Fix anything before you download.
Generated entirely in your browser in a few seconds. Text stays selectable, and a cover page, contents list, or page numbers are one switch away.
What ends up on the page
| In the answer | In the PDF |
|---|---|
| Headings and paragraphs | A readable serif on a proper scale; a heading never strands alone at the bottom of a page. |
| Tables | Ruled tables with the alignment Claude specified, shrunk to fit the page when wide. |
| Code blocks | Monospace blocks with syntax colours, long lines wrapped — including the code inside an artifact once you copy it out. |
| Equations | Rendered mathematics, crisp at any zoom — Claude's $…$ and \[…\] delimiters are both understood. |
| Bullet and numbered lists | Real lists with nesting preserved. |
| Links and footnotes | Links stay clickable; numbered [1] markers with a sources list become real footnotes in research mode. |
| Long answers | Page cuts are verified against the rendered pixels, so a line of text is never sliced in half. |
Common questions
How do I save a Claude answer as a PDF?
Click the copy button at the bottom of the reply, paste into the box above, and click Convert to PDF. The converter opens with the exact pages rendered; download when it looks right. It is free and needs no account. For several answers, paste them one after another into the editor — they become one document.
Can I paste a Claude share link instead?
Not yet. Claude's shared conversations are served in a way our server cannot read, so the link import that works for ChatGPT and Gemini does not cover Claude. Copying the answer takes two clicks and loses nothing, because Claude's copy button hands over the Markdown.
What about an artifact?
Open the artifact, use its copy button, and paste. A document artifact arrives as Markdown and converts like any answer; a code artifact becomes a highlighted code block. The artifact's own download gives you the raw file, not a formatted page.
Does the answer leave my browser?
No. The paste stays on your machine and the PDF is generated in your browser — there is no upload. Only the Word export uses our server, and it keeps nothing.
Is there a faster way for daily use?
The browser extension adds an export button to claude.ai itself: one click on any reply gives you Word or PDF without copying. It reads the reply on the page and sends nothing else.
